Who is Yolanda ?

Yolanda Coervers-Schoenmakers is a happily married mother of three beautiful daughters, who was born June 10th 1965 in the Netherlands where she still lives today.
Since her childhood and as long as she can remember she has had a love for animals, she is currently the proud owner of a German Sheppard named Gandhi, and has always had dogs in her life.

She began drawing with soft pastel in January 2008, and with her passion for animals her drawing revolves mostly around them but has recently started in Portraiture, which is the purpose of this blog, to enable her to share her creations with a wide audience.

She gets much joy and satisfaction from client’s reactions after they see a drawing of their pet or loved one, which inspires her to continue with her creative spirit.

Yolanda currently hosts Master-Class workshops, with artists such as Eric Wilson (England) and Eric Pouillet (France) and has also attended 2 Master-Class workshops of the Canadian artist Dianna Ponting.
